Our team is responsible for Application lifecycle management and evolution activities related to all local applications used in all business departments; we maintain regular dialog with business stakeholders to collect evolution needs, build and execute evolution roadmap and manage IS budget for our application portfolio. The workplace is in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the PWR Transmission BG Application Manager & Country Business Coordinator Norway.Getting a flying startTo succeed in the IS department, you should have solid experience from the technology industry. You have experience in managing IS projects and application lifecycle management. You have worked in companies that are project-driven and have performed activities related to IS Application and Project Manager position requirements. You have experience working in an international environment. Ideally your experience is related to demand management, application support and implementation management, IS project management, budget management. You will be comfortable ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience in Microsoft productivity tools (M365), SaaS solutions, application security, documentation and vendor management. You also have solid experience in maintaining a good dialog with business stakeholders, key users, and other IT teams in the company through your natural interpersonal communication skills and customer and service-oriented approach.Our growth CultureAt the individual level, our growth-culture is built on trust and collaboration. To do this you initiate, lead and participate in activities such as defining the strategy and the roadmap, leading the studies and implementation of new solutions and the application roadmap and ensuring technical maintenance and evolution of the application portfolio in your scope. By keeping an overview of all applications and projects you will ensure that changes requested by Business are validated, prioritized, implemented and documented. In addition, you will be comfortable working with external and internal stakeholders to translate demands to solutions. Promote use of Nexans standard solutions, workspaces and official data sources. Efficiently follow up and manage licensing needs. Organize tests when changes occur and contribute to execution of strategic plans coming from “PWR Transmission Management” . You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to our department. • A degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Five years of relevant Application Management experience
• In this role, the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you have effective communication and interpersonal skills, an awareness of multicultural differences, and technical competence.
• As we work with a focus on digital transformation and innovation, it is important to have advanced technical skills and project management skills.

• Fluent in English – oral and written; Norwegian is a plus.
