The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.Job DescriptionTask DescriptionAs Software Engineering (SE) IT Architect and Application Manager, you are responsible for defining and improving existing tool chains to support software development and application management. You
design and implement best-of-breed tool support for the SE process based on e.g. capabilities of Atlassian Jira and Confluence and ensure short lead times by highly integration.
Int the application manager role you take ownership for the functionality of the development ecosystem. You will develop infrastructure and software assets to automate our DevOps pipelines, following the SE process standards and compliant with TSI target infrastructure/architecture and security requirements.Typical Activities

• Define architecture for development tools integration and configuration.
• Innovate tool chains by selecting appropriate plugins and tool extensions/replacements in close collaboration with project teams
• Manage the development pipeline and plan security updates.
• Script for Ansible, Helm, Bash, and other relevant technologies.
• Develop and test Kubernetes cluster setups, focusing on persistent storage solutions (e.g., Longhorn), monitoring, logging, security hardening, and GitOps.
• Ensure knowledge transfer regarding tool chain and organizational processes
• Author and maintain cookbooks/blueprints for Jira and Confluence.
• Support privacy and security audits, and tool approvals.

QualificationsSkill Requirements and ExpriencesThis position combines architectural expertise with hands-on application management, requiring a blend of technical skills, process understanding, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid development background and be able to bridge the gap between software engineering processes and the tools that support them.5 years of experience in programming applications with Java or similar languages, including deep Unix knowledge.
2 years experience as an IT architect. * Strong understanding of DevOps principles, architecture, and automation practices.

• Extensive experience with software engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, CI pipelines with Jenkins, and plugins like Xray.
• Knowledge about network technologies, modern frameworks, approaches for test automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Docker, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of SE processes and ability to define requirements for suitable tool support.
• Understanding of compliance and security concepts and best practices in software development and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in different project models including classic approaches, agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), and DevOps.
• Understanding of measuring process performance with KPIs.
• Excellent team and communication and coordination skills, with a talent for consulting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks across several teams.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
