  • Analyze and refine demand requirements provided by Business Relationship Manager and business units for delivering the necessary POS & Retail functionality to support “Direct to Consumer” D2C Omnichannel services for the business
  • Develop rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine technical feasibility of solution
  • Identify value creation opportunities enabled by combining business insights with emerging or existing technologies
  • Consult the business functions on feasibility and benefits of technology innovations
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external application development resources as part of projects or software changes
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time, and resources
  • Liaise with the service development team (external partner) to develop and assess technical solutions, aligns with Enterprise Architect and Integration Tower
  • IT Budget manager for Application development for global POS applications
  • Support the development of project estimates (costs, timeline) for the development of the technical solution as an input for the overarching business case
  • Coordinate test activities incl. user acceptance tests with Business Relationship Manager and business units
  • Work closely together with the Enterprise Architect to develop future state Enterprise Architecture (EA) blueprints (business, application, infrastructure, information, process, tools, security, organization) for the Sales domains and create a set of actionable plans to reach the desired future state architecture
  • Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades (e.g., new release updates) to existing services

Your ideal profile:

  • Master/bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (must have), German (nice to have)
  • Several years of industry or consulting experience in the IT environment
  • Exposure to the retail and/or fashion industry
  • 5+ years experiences in designing and building solutions and applications in at least two of the following areas SAP S4 HANA Sales and Distribution, Shop Replenishment, Point of Sales, Consumer Loyalty, and their Process Integration
  • 4+ years’ experience in defining, developing, and managing Sales Solutions – End-to-End
  • 4+ years’ experiences in analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodology
  • 3+ years experiences in managing external application development providers, preferably in an outsourcing model
  • In-depth understanding of “Direct to Consumer” D2C business processes, business issues and data challenges of the retail industry
  • Enterprise architecture skills in the Sales and POS & Retail domain
  • Strong focus on SAP S4 HANA Sales and Distribution and POS solutions (e.g., TP.net or Cegid Y2)
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Possibility for project-related and global travel
  • Strong negotiation skills (for interaction with external providers)
