You will have the ability to take ownership of escalated incidents and requests, as well as be a core team member to various critical IT projects.This position is part of the IT Department and will be located in Solna, Stockholm – Sweden. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Cooperate closely with the local IT Team and the business, providing support on important tasks & projects on a critical manufacturing site.
• Oversee local day-to-day IT operations, ensure reliability and security of systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Respond to incidents and requests including escalated issues by executing through to completion or escalating when appropriate.
• Provide business support, including troubleshooting issues and providing appropriate support to the business stakeholders.
• Perform installation and configuration management of systems and applications.
• Facilitate meetings with vendors and cross-functional participants if needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• 8+ years of working with IT Infrastructure
• Strong understanding of AWS technologies, Active Directory, IAM, PowerShell, Servers
• Experience managing and maintaining Windows servers in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience managing enterprise Printer & Scan environments and storage technologies.
• Solid understanding of Networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, VLAN
• Solid understanding of database and database management technologies
• Fluent level of Swedish and English, in spoken and written

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in a manufacturing environment or logistics
• Previous experience from working in an international environment
