Job Description:Do you want to contribute to enhance the productivity and satisfaction of developers across Danske Bank? Are you an experienced and skilled leader with technical background, who can execute and deliver on initiatives to improve developer tools, processes, and environments, ensuring that developers have the best possible experience and can focus on delivering high-quality software efficiently.Who are we?We are part of Technology & Services, and the Developer Experience Tribe is anchored within Tech Innovation & Foundation. You will together with the Tribe Lead, be responsible for a global team with more than 100 employees across locations. The strategic goals for the tribe are closely linked to Danske Bank’s strategy Forward ’28, and the tribe is enabling Danske Bank to create a more simple, efficient and digital bank.Key objectives in the role as IT Lead:As IT Lead, you and the Tribe Lead will be responsible for the Developer Experience tribe. Our vision in the tribe is to ‘Make Danske Bank a great place to be a developer’This includes:

• Leading by our cultural commitments in promoting a culture of transparency, autonomy, and empowerment within the tribe.

• Implement and ensure adoption of AI-powered code assistants, such as GitHub Copilot, to the entire developer community.

• Ensure operational responsibility of the current developer tool stack used by all developers in Danske Bank.

• Collaborate with various departments to align developer experience initiatives with the bank’s strategic priorities, such as digital and advisory services.

The role has a group-wide impact across tribes and business areas and the strategic goals of the tribe are directly linked with Forward ’28, enabling Danske Bank to create a more simple, efficient, and digital bank.Developer Experience has employees in Denmark (Aarhus & Copenhagen), Lithuania (Vilnius) and India (multiple cities) as part of our partnership with Infosys.Who are we looking for?We imagine that you have a technical background in e.g. computer science or a similar field – combined with relevant experience from working with IT solution delivery within a complex technical ecosystem. It would be beneficial if you have experience within the financial industry.Other key competencies for the role are abilities within:

• Leading and delivering in technical complex setups

• Creating engaged and motivated teams in the organisation

• Constantly being updated within recent and relevant tech and architectural trends

• Cloud (preferably AWS) and preferably also AI
