This unique position allows you to shape the future of incident response and security monitoring within Global Information Security.Day-to-day your tasks will include:

• Automate response to security events by integrating relevant systems into SIEM and SOAR.
• Enhance SOC operations by reducing manual workloads through automation.
• Build and manage security alerts, transforming log data for efficient storage using tools like Cribl.
• Automate and streamline security incident handling within ServiceNow Security Operations.
• Query logs efficiently using KQL, SQL, and AWS Athena.
• Maintain and develop playbooks, align with Incident Response, and assess security alert severity.
• Apply Python/JavaScript for automation, manage code using Git, and proactively improve stakeholder satisfaction.

With colleagues primarily located in Denmark, the USA, and India, you’ll be part of a dynamic global security community innovating and optimizing security strategies to deliver exceptional value across the Novo Nordisk network.Your skills & qualificationsWe’re looking for a new Security Engineer who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment.You’ll bring with you:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security is required; relevant experience may be substituted for degree when appropriate. Advanced degree is preferred.

• +5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Ability to lead a project in the development and implementation of processes and technology.

• Vendor neutral technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) are an advantage.

• Vendor sponsored and professional certifications (ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Splunk certifications, etc.) are desirable.
