Join us in creating a future beyond fossils!We are now looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join our UPM IT Local Operations & Service Delivery Management Europe team in Finland, preferably located close to one of UPM premises (e.g. Tampere, Kouvola, Jämsänkoski).Greetings from your future managerYour role will be part of a team of SDMs managing similar responsibilities for their responsible areas in UPM Fibres (Pulp, Timber, Forest), UPM Biofuels, UPM Energy and UPM Plywood businesses. You will assist in the governance of our ecosystem of key vendors including external, internal, on and off-shore international partners responsible for infrastructure and application services to our end customers, the business. You will perform various roles in regular infrastructure and application changes, ensuring compliance with latest versions and life-cycle events within an ITIL framework and operating mode. - Coordinate all UPM IT Services in UPM locations, and maintain, develop and take care of the compliance of local IT solutions
- Initiate development needs for applications and infrastructure
- Manage the interface with local business and act as a single point of contact, and strive for continuous improvement and solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Manage local service providers and participation in the governance of global service providers
- Ensure that end-to-end technical site knowledge is secured / existing (documented)
- Co-operate and engage with Cybersecurity demands and IT/OT topics with local OT business contacts
- Be responsible for local solutions/components budgeting and cost control
- Communicate coming changes towards the end users
Who you are
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or equivalent professional qualification
- You are service oriented and have a positive mindset
- You have experience in Service Management and vendor governance
- You have a good understanding of IT Service Management processes and practices
- You have good communication skills, and you are fluent in English and in Finnish
- You have strong time management and self-leadership skills
- Experience of cooperation with local business management and key stakeholders is seen as an advantage
- Experience and knowledge of key IT infrastructure technologies and ServiceNow is seen as an advantage
