Job Description:About your roleWe are looking for IT Service Manager responsible for end-to-end IT service with a focus on business fit, service consumer satisfaction, cost efficiency and business continuity. As IT Service Manager, you are also responsible for defining business and user centric KPI’s for service operations, orchestrating continual development and contributing to selected projects within your Service or Service area.Service Manager position is based within the Orion Group level Information Management Organization, in a team covering the Business Support area that consist of e.g. HR, Finance, Legal, IM, FM and common group level applications.Location for the position is either Espoo or Turku, and we also support hybrid working model.Your key responsibilities

  • End-to-end service accountability for a number of Services within the Business Support area, with the focus on business fit, service consumer satisfaction, cost efficiency and business continuity.
  • Service vendor, contract and costs management, and you will have a key role in service sourcing.
  • Assessment of feasibility, prioritization of development initiatives and orchestration of development and potential project work is performed as per company guidance.
  • Ensuring adequate reporting and service standards are met.
  • Maintenance of the service catalogue and wider IT service operations knowledge library and associated documentation.

  • IT Service and customer focus, business acumen. You know how to see the bigger picture, understand the business use cases in your service area and can investigate how to get the best out of the underlying IT services.
  • Ownership, initiative and drive. You can take accountability of the issues that occur and be proactive in searching for potential problems. You know how to achieve excellent user outcomes.
  • Continual IT service improvement and development mindset. You can analyze current processes and identify optimizations and then implement them to your service.
  • User and data focus. You define business and user centric KPIs for IT service operations.
  • Team and business first mindset, ability to work, collaborate and communicate effectively with various cross-functional stakeholders
  • Prior experience from a similar IT Service Management role within a Business IT / Business Support service area
  • Service Management Framework knowledge. Ideally you have a Certificate in Service Management Framework qualification
  • Broad technical domain knowledge on information security, databases, IT platforms and solutions and associated architecture, connectivity and integrations benefitial
  • Experience of Pharma / Life Science industry and / or above mentioned service areas is considered as an advantage
