Our business edge originates from the effective translation of Intelligent Technology into measurable, bottom-line client value. swissQuant Group is a privately held company incorporated in 2005 as a spin-off of ETH Zürich.PositionYou will join our development team in the full stack implementation and delivery of our private banking software, quantitative tools and services for our clients in the financial sector.ScopeYour main tasks will be to define, develop and test high quality features along with the team and contribute in software design, code delivery and maintenance. Your responsibility includes adding new features to our products and prototypes or realize reusable user interfaces according to client requirements, as well as contributing to the development and deployment process.RequirementsWe expect the successful candidate to possess technical capabilities, as well as solid IT and programming know-how. In addition, the following requirements must be fulfilled:Excellent computer programming skills, particularly in core Java, multithreading, system designKnowledge of most (but not necessarily all) of these concepts and technologies:
– Messaging, JMS
– Guice/Spring
– DBMS (MySQL, Client), Hibernate
– Docker
– Web programming (Java Web Frameworks, HTTP, REST, HTML, Javascript)

• Any banking expereince is a plus (we can consider candidates from other sectors)
