Job description
We are the Jet Engine MRO located in Helsinki Airport, Finland looking for experienced Jet Engine Mechanics to join our heavy shop visit team in our international and growing company GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES).
We offer full-time permanent position and support in relocation to Finland for the candidates and their family members from abroad.The Heavy shop visit team within our MRO is dedicated to performing performance restoration engine shop visits.As a member in our heavy shop visit team, your main tasks would be:
- CFM56-5B/7B & CF6-80C2 jet engine performance restoration Workscopes
- Disassembly of Engine to major and shop modules
- Assembly of shop and major modules to Engine
- QEC removal and installation
The ideal Engine Mechanic would have:
- 3 + years of hands-on experience working with jet engines
- Valid CFM56-5B/7B or CF6-80C2 certifications
- Good English language skills to communicate, be able to read & interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins
- No hesitation to take responsibility and accountability
- Flexibility with working hours, including readiness to shift work
- Excellent team working skills
- Strong motivation to learn new things
- Positive and hard-working attitude
