As part of the strategy, we have launched a DKK 500 investment fund, Salling Seeds, targeting early stage growth companies within retail, tech and sustainability.About the Roles
We are looking for Manager and Senior Consultant candidates for M&A & Salling Seeds to support our growth journey and deliver on the goals outlined in Aspire ’28. Reporting to SVP, Head of Group Strategy, M&A & Salling Seeds you will play a central role in our M&A journey and launch of Salling Seeds.You will work closely with the Group Strategy team and collaborate across the organization in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in executing Salling Group’s acquisition strategy and driving the development of Salling Seeds.What We Offer

Your Profile
We are looking for a high-performing team players with:

• Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills in large organizations
• A proactive mindset, always seeking new challenges and exceeding targets
• Integrity, honesty, and a collaborative approach to achieving goals

Key Responsibilities

• M&A: Running end-to-end processes, from target screening and due diligence to financial modelling and post-merger integration support
• Salling Seeds: Play a pivotal role in launching Salling Seeds (DKK 500m investment fund), deal origination and later exits
• Project Management: Prepare presentations, proposals, and recommendations for decision-making
• Stakeholder Management: Present recommendations to executive management and support board-related work.
• Post-Merger Integration: Ensure value realization and follow-up on investments

How To Thrive

• Manager position: 4-5 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, investment funds, management consultancy or similar Corporate M&A-focused role
• Senior Consultant position: 2-3 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, investment funds, management consultancy or similar Corporate M&A-focused role
• A strong academic background: Cand. Merc, Cand. Oecon/Polit, or similar with top results
• A solid corporate finance toolbox and a great deal originator
• Fluency in Danish and English

You will be based at our HQ in Aarhus and expect about 15-30 travel days per year.Are You Ready to Join Us?
