The RoleAs our Junior Recipe Editor (Swedish speaking), you will join our high-performing Product Team based in Copenhagen, playing a key role in shaping the HelloFresh experience for our Swedish customers. This is a hybrid role: part operational, with weekly deadlines for recipe card creation, and part strategic, involving ownership of initiatives to elevate the editorial quality and customer experience of our Swedish product.Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all Swedish recipe cards are accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand standards. You’ll copy edit and proofread recipes with care, collaborate with culinary and operations teams, and oversee the seamless weekly rollout of content. At the same time, you’ll contribute to longer-term projects to improve editorial workflows, processes, and customer-facing materials.HelloFresh recipe cards are one of the most important touchpoints for our customers – this role ensures they’re always a pleasure to read, cook from, and share.You will:

• Copy edit and proofread 25+ recipes per week, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in voice, tone, and style
• Write punchy and appealing recipe titles, subtitles, and supporting copy
• Coordinate image briefs and post production requests with our photo studio
• Set up and publish the Swedish weekly menu online, ensuring proper implementation of signaletics (Recipe tags and labels)
• Collaborate with Culinary and Operations teams to quickly resolve recipe changes or errors related to product availability
• Manage cross-functional communication with local and global stakeholders to meet weekly editorial deadlines
• Monitor and implement customer feedback, improving recipes and user satisfaction
• Drive and lead editorial projects that enhance process efficiency, content quality, or customer engagement (OKR-driven)
• Support the Product Team with additional content or localization tasks as needed

You have:

• Native-level fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in Swedish, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in editing, writing, translation, or content creation – food writing/editing is a plus
• Exceptional copy editing and proofreading skills, with a deep understanding of grammar, spelling, and style conventions
• Meticulous attention to detail – you triple-check everything before it goes live
• Able to work quickly and efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
• A self-starter with a proactive mindset, a strong sense of ownership and collaborative nature
• Comfortable using content tools and internal systems; Adobe InDesign / Photoshop and Jira knowledge are a bonus
