Job description
Our client, an established and respected civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Junior Project Manager (Engineer) to join a specialist division in their group of companies. This is a rare opportunity to develop a long-term career within a growing company that offers comprehensive training, strong mentorship, and clear pathways for progression.The successful candidate will initially work closely with experienced engineers and managers and will be fully trained to manage their own projects over time.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion.
- Supervise and coordinate site staff and machinery.
- Monitor site progress, health & safety, and quality control.
- Ensure project prgrammes are followed
- Provide technical support to project teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must reside in one of the following counties: Leitrim, Longford, Roscommon, or Sligo.
- Must have authorisation to work in Ireland.
- Full, clean driving licence (company vehicle provided).
