Junior Sous ChefMoreton-in-Marsh, GloucestershireSalary: Up to £34,000 (including average £6,000 tronc)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our team. As a Junior Sous Chef, you’ll be responsible for executing all dishes according to our menu specifications, ensuring top-quality standards are met in every plate. Ideally, you’ll have experience in fresh food kitchens and restaurant environments, or you’ll simply have a passion for great food, making it easy for you to grasp the fundamentals quickly. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, demonstrating stamina and confidence to lead your section with clear instructions and a calm approach during busy times.As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll also be responsible for maintaining organisation and coordination in your station, assisting your team members, and sharing your knowledge with junior staff.We also offer reasonable financial support for relocation costs.Staff Accommodation:We have staff accommodation available in the local village and in Chipping Norton, with various options and costs to suit your needs.Responsibilities:

• Execute dishes according to menu specifications, maintaining high standards
• Ensure adherence to kitchen audit requirements
• Assist and support your kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment
• Share your knowledge and passion for food with junior chefs
• Prepare your section for the next day with fresh mise en place (MEP)
• Learn about our products and production processes
• Comply with internal audit and health & safety requirements
• Contribute to our sustainability vision, supporting our journey as a B Corp and driving meaningful social and environmental improvements
• Inspire customers, suppliers, and partners to embrace conscious living and work practices, leaving a positive impact on the world
