  • Management of inventories within the SO organization
  • Project work for stock optimization (achieving TCT, scrapping, final stocking)
  • Analyzing logistics concepts. Development, evaluation and implementation of new solution concepts, especially in the inventory environment
  • Introduction and support of new software system (BlueYonder = BY, IO module) for inventory planning in the production network
  • Consultancy and training of employees
  • Interface function to higher-level committees

Main Tasks in a nutshell:Reporting and inventories

  • Interface function between group manager and employees in reporting
  • Preparation of reports for MGB and internal tracking
  • Analysing inventory categories and defining measures
  • Carrying out inventory reduction projects, checking and validating the results
  • Supporting employees in improving work processes
  • Support / implementation of business planning, CF reconciliations
  • Preparation / support of monthly business reports
  • Derivation and tracking of targets for the SO units
  • Actual analysis of inventories / deviations
  • MHD analysis
  • Analyse inventory drivers, document in central tools (e.g. IMAP) and coordinate and track reduction measures
  • Carry out stock coverage analysis
  • Evaluate blocked stocks and clear them with the relevant stakeholders
  • Create and track scrapping requests, manage ‘Scrapping Inbox’
  • Set indicators in the SAP system for corresponding stock categories (SI indicators)
  • Carry out plausibility checks on stocks in SAP and BlueYonder

BlueYonder inventory module (BYIO) optimization

  • BlueYonder (BY) is the new planning and inventory optimization system for the HL production network
  • Introduction of control process for ‘BYIO’ module for crossplant optimization of inventories in the HL network
  • Define workflows and processes
  • Provide data for BY and derive interface requirements from this
  • Carry out test and communicate feedback
  • Train employees
  • Carry out the BYIO control process

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in related field
  • Degree in economics, business studies, business informatics or comparable qualification
  • Fluent English skills in speaking and writing
  • Basic Logistics Knowledge and Analytical thinking
  • IT and Reporting Skills (Office, SAP, APO, databases, BlueYonder,)
  • Other Know-how’s:
  • Process thinking
  • Recording interrelationships within the supply chain incl. mapping / visualization in the IT systems
  • Value stream orientated approaches
  • Cost awareness and ability to analyze projects from an economic perspective
