Job Objective:The Laboratory Manager at DJS-AbbVie in Oxford will hold operational responsibility for the laboratory space in Oxford for DJS-AbbVie. They will act as a point of contact for the landlords at the WCFI or future DJS-AbbVie site as well as AbbVie Lab HS&E. They will hold a general responsibility to ensure smooth operations of the laboratory space. This includes but is not limited to devising and implementing strategies for the continuous supply of general use consumables, working with the landlord and AbbVie HS&E to ensure compliance of the laboratory space. Overall responsibility for onboarding new starters both to ensure a high standard of laboratory science and scientific report writing is maintained. General responsibility to ensure all equipment is serviced and operational, as well as working closely with the scientific team to identify and fill capability gaps. The expectation is that the Lab Manager will lead by example and ensure the highest standard of laboratory space to enable rapid and smooth progression of our scientific objectives.Key Responsibilities:
