Job Description Summary As part of our dedicated Respiratory team, your daily tasks include execution of laboratory testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and technical problem solving. Team is developing and maintaining units and accessories used to measure breathing gases from patients. Multiple different methods are used to simulate patient use in laboratory environment and in this role you would be responsible for enabling and executing those tests.In this role you’ll face activities like contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems and activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. You’ll probably impact quality of your own work and the work of others in the team. You’ll execute standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. - Building different tests setups and running testing.
- Maintenance, construction and development of test facilities and instrumentation systems.
- Documenting findings precisely and reporting to stakeholders.
- Safe handling, storage, and transportation of gas cylinders, as well as performing measurements and ensuring proper usage.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Technician or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, automation or equivalent.
- Previous work experience related to measurement devices.
- Attention to detail in ensuring accurate measurements and meticulous documentation of results.
- Fluency in Finnish, both spoken and written.
- Basic skills in English.
- EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics
- Solid understanding in basic measurement techniques.
- Capability to analyze measurement data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Proficiency in control systems and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with software used for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Previous knowledge of safety protocols for handling and storing gas cylinders to prevent accidents.
