Lead Civil Engineer – Industrial/Pharma Projects – Sandyford, DublinOffice/Project Location: Sandyford, DublinEmployment Type: 12 Month Renewable ContractWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: Hourly Rate €60 – €70 per hourExperience: 8+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredLead/Senior Civil Engineer required to join a multi discipline design team. You will be responsible for leading the civil engineering design so as to deliver successfully for our clients and projects. We are looking for someone with the right experience and skill set to manage the delivery of the overall civil design whilst being able to effectively coordinate their work with other stakeholders.Possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner with strong attention to detailLead the civil engineering design effort for projects, involving:Design and development of paving and grading layoutsDesign and coordinated surface and foul networksCoordinate underground utilities for the site with other disciplinesDevelop earthworks analysis and drawings for site developmentEngage with internal discipline leads to agree scope definitionManage and report on your progress and budgetManage the delivery of the civil engineering drawings and deliverablesContribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringAt least 8 years of project experienceExperience in pharmaceutical projects or other industrial type developmentsChartered Civil Engineering qualification preferred.Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments including:Site development, site master planning and site selection.Underground utility routing and site space planning.Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems.Analysing and designing gravitational wastewater systems.Performing final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing.Support permit application process.Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, WaterCAD and WaterGEMS preferrable.Expertise in hydrology analysis tools including Micro Drainage software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Benefits:Contract rate €60 – €70 per hour12 month renewable contractContact:Andrew Taylor is the consultant managing this positionIf you are a Civil Engineer and are interested in roles based in Sandyford, Dublin, you can contact Andrew by e-mail at [email protected] or phone +353-1-5310097 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Civil Engineers in Dublin.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredtagciv
