The Project Lead Engineer is responsible for management of jobs awarded to company, to ensure appropriate design and engineering, guide sourcing and sub-contractors. Ensure deliveries to customer within allocated schedule, budget and customer satisfaction. The Lead Engineer manages assigned technical work force, ensures compliances to applicable codes & standards and adherence to QMS. High focus on on-time delivery, first time right and customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance to the contractual specifications as well as the applicable codes & standards. Well versed with all functions required for delivering customized & standardized gas projects/solutions/applications, well acquainted with sourcing, design & engineering, project management, production aspects.We offer our end-to-end project management that includes all steps from concept engineering, construction to commissioning and lifecycle services. - Prepare & own project plans, schedule, track budgets allocated, documentation compliances and on time delivery of project. Project related resource planning and monitoring. Supervision of sub-contract labor (office) and services
- Interface with customers, establish professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed. Produce and/or review project specific deliverables: Basic design and detailed design engineering works. This includes document preparation – calculations – P&ID design – instrumentation selection – station control panel (SCP) design – wiring diagrams – manufacturing specification – inspection and test plans – equipment data sheet preparation -bill of materials – commissioning manual – production procedures
- Prepare and/or review RFQ packages, perform bid evaluation. Sub suppliers: Monitor and ensure technical compliance, quality, on time delivery. Support commissioning & start up, Customer training.
- Safety: establish safe work practice and company policies and continuously improve the site safety culture and meet / exceed all Health, safety, and Environment key performance matrices.
- Delivery of project, meeting all specification requirements, on agreed schedule and on allocated cost budgets. Participate in progressive project review meeting with client and ensure to share the customer requirements and customer expectations on project deliverables. Quality: Adherence to QMS and Bid preparation support
Key Skills and Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic / or equivalent
- Min 5 years’ experience in similar role in process control industry. Knowledge/experience in Gas Measurement & Control
- Strong knowledge in Primary measuring instruments (Flow Meters, Secondary measuring instruments (PT, TT etc.), Flow Computer (FC), Gas Chromatograph (GC), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), SCADA, Flow & Energy Calculation (AGA, ISO standards)
- Conversant with applicable codes and standards for gas industry
- Language skills: Danish, Fluent English
