We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Lead Engineer to head the Production Engineering team for Visual Inspection and Packaging.In this role, you will drive operational excellence, manage key stakeholders, support maintenance activities, and lead improvement projects in a highly regulated GMP environment. This is your chance to shape technical operations that directly support life-changing therapies.Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production Engineering team (Visual Inspection & Packaging)
• Manage stakeholders and represent M2U in GMP/non-GMP inspections
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance shutdowns
• Support daily operations with technical troubleshooting and process optimization
• Represent engineering in deviation and CAPA processes (e.g., SQUIPP)
• Execute small-scale (SIAG) investment projects and support cross-functional initiatives
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and fulfill Operational Readiness (OR) tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and foster a strong safety culture
• Participate in on-call duty as “Pikett Engineer”

Your Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, process, or automation engineering (or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in GMP-regulated production or plant engineering
• Proven leadership experience in a technical setting
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• High level of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving ability
• Fluent in German and English
