Welcome to Bosch.Job Description► Be responsible for the robust design of power components from 100W up to 200kW for automotive applications, mostly for power modules for (H)EV with the focus on thermo-mechanical behaviour► Be the key-player in shaping the mechanical simulation competency field within the organization► Work in close cooperation with the thermal simulation, technology and reliability engineers to define and perform the necessary simulations, using the ANSYS platform► Evaluate simulation results & derive relevant conclusions out of them, present and discuss the results within the international project team► Coordinate a team of simulation engineers to solve various problems from process simulations to validation support and reliability assessment► Support the continuous improvement of the simulation/ modelling infrastructure to work towards virtual product design & digital engineering by:o defining fast & robust processeso automatizing repetitive workflowso improving accuracy based on validation measurements► Carrier perspective towards leadership/ specialistQualifications► University degree in Mechanical engineering, Physics or similar, PhD is beneficial► Proven background and knowledge in at least 3 of the following topics: thermal and mechanical or thermo-mechanical simulations, material science, FEA theory, model based engineering, fatigue and fracture mechanics► At least 5 years experience with FEM simulation tools, ideally ANSYS Workbench and Spaceclaim► Experience with scripting (APDL, Python)► Fluent English communication and presentation skills, German is beneficial► Coordination/ leadership experience is beneficial► Pro-active behavior, strong desire for continuous improvement of self & the teamAdditional InformationGet to know our #LikeABosch benefits.We would like to help you GROW, so we offer you:
