Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.The roleThis role is mainly giving to the activities of the O&R and Closing cycles for the Ireland Market. The aim is to make sure the A&P budgets are supervised thru excellent partner management.Ireland is the home of Guinness and majority of the activities are planned around that brand so the market is mainly focused on Beer business. This role’s main partner is the Head of Marketing Finance and the Business Support Manager and also the marketing organization’s A&P budget managers.Main responsibilities:Support monthly management reporting processes, including various BPM reports, landing report, O&R, Extended WC, cash flow reporting, forecasting, and preparation of review meeting decksBuild positive relationships with senior partners, providing timely reporting and strategic planning supportPrepare and submit the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic PlanAct as a finance business partner, leading day-to-day financials, driving performance, and identifying efficiency opportunitiesEnsure completeness of profit center/market figures and continuously supervise P&L accounts for inconsistenciesBuild accurate forecasts based on trends and partner informationSupport finance processes with detailed analysis as neededPartner with In-market Finance, FC team, and business divisions to drive performance through financial expertise and insightsDeliver timely information, insights, and forecastingResolve sophisticated problems.About youDegree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ businessFinancial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred4-5 years’ experience in relevant areaStrong accounting experienceGood accounting knowledgeExperience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environmentExperience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantageHave an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision makingProficient English knowledgeBenefits of working hereUnique Family Leave opportunityWe work without border – you will work with people from all over the worldYou will deal with world class brand portfolioWide variety of thematic events, afterwork activities organized by employee communitiesProduct Allowance to purchase company products from the staff shopWe won the Fittest Workplace Award, of course we have a GymUrban legend is true, we do have a Rooftop BarInclusion & DiversityCelebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
