If so, we invite you to join our team as Lead Logistics Consultant at our headquarters in Randers.You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Danish Crown’s local, regional and global road logistics operations. Our purpose is delivering resilient, customer centric and cost efficient solutions. You will be part of the Global Logistics department, collaborating with a team of 40 experienced professionals while engaging with additional international logistics colleagues. You will be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation, sustainability, and excellence.This position offers a broad and varied scope, allowing you to work at both a tactical and operational level. You will be responsible for analyzing, advising, and implementing process’ across Business Units and departments, ensuring that Danish Crown will reach the strategic goals and must win battles. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing the day-to-day work and to create synergies to streamline processes, identifying risks, and driving efficiency in our way of working.Beyond logistics, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders in operations and supply chain. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on continuously improvement, impact transformation and proactively benchmark our efforts, to keep logistics operations competitive. Additionally, you will contribute to cross-functional projects, collaborating with teams across different departments and regions to ensure a streamlined way to work and value creation.Your external focus will be to intensify working with the logistics suppliers. Hence, to develop the cooperation, to follow up on performance and be responsible for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s).Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage road logistics KPIs including OTIF, DIFOT, transport cost per unit, cost-to-serve, and CO₂ per pallet kilometer. To ensure logistics solutions meet both financial and service-level targets.
- Lead initiatives to optimize cost-to-serve and improve margin contribution, balancing cost, service, and sustainability.
- Analyze and manage logistics risks, design contingency plans, and ensure supply chain resilience against disruptions (e.g., strikes, fuel shortages, regulatory changes).
- Drive reduction in carbon emissions, fuel consumption, and environmental impact of road transport. Hence, partner with suppliers and internal teams to implement green fleet options, alternative fuels, and eco-efficient transport strategies.
- Support and drive deployment of Transport Management Systems (TMS), real-time tracking, digital freight platforms, and control tower visibility. Further to identify, trial, and scale innovative logistics.

Who are we looking for?The ideal candidate have a relevant educational background – such as a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent. Further, you have a few years of documented experience working with Lean, TMS and digital supply chain systems.
You approach tasks in a structured and analytical manner, with attention to detail and business acumen. You have a diverse skillset and the experience to engage in delivering high-quality work and be proactive in engaging with stakeholders across the organization.Expect approximately 10 – 30 travel days per year.Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years expertise in road logistics including cost, service, quality and sustainability drivers
- Data driven decision making and Cost 2 Serve
- Proven ability to drive change and improvement
- Experienced in Risk management and supply chain resilience
- Proven experience in succeeding in Supplier Relationship Management
- Fluency in English, German is an advantage, both written and spoken
- A collaborative mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
