We welcome applications across the HRM, Organizational Behaviour and Employment Relations sub-disciplines. The successful applicant will, over time, sustain high-quality research activity through a portfolio of individual and/or joint research projects, engage with recognised academic networks and secure research funding. They will publish research findings in highly rated internationally recognised journals and/or influence wider policy and practice in this area.This appointment is made on our Education & Research Pathway, where excellence in both education and research is expected. The successful applicant will play a role in the planning, organisation, and delivery of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Initial teaching activities will include contributing to undergraduate modules in organisational behaviour and quantitative methods. It is further expected that you will carry out academic management duties as requested by the Executive Dean or Head of Department and contribute to the pastoral care of our students.It is essential that you hold a PhD in a relevant field and evidence substantial research potential, via publications in leading refereed journals and an impressive research pipeline. Experience in teaching on-campus modules is also essential; and interest in teaching quantitative methods is highly desirable.This is a full-time post starting 1st September 2025. You will be offered an indefinite contract but will initially serve a three-year probation period. During these three years, Lecturers receive a generous teaching abatement to support the development of their research profile. • Appropriate list of relevant publications in leading, refereed journals
• Evidence of a pipeline of scholarly activities with potential for excellent future publications, funding generation and/or impact
• Experience of teaching relevant topics effectively at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
• Willingness to collaborate well with colleagues in Faculty and university

Desirable criteria * Experience of teaching quantitative methods to an appropriate level

• Demonstrable innovation in teaching and assessment
• Existing research funding capture
• Professional networks and memberships

£52,874 to £61,921 per annum inclusive of London Weighting
