You will be required to manage high volume client matters / caseload to provide and deliver a quality service whilst maintaining adherence to our business directives. Managing relationships with internal and external parties to ensure matters are dealt with in the appropriate way.The purpose of the EL/PL Legal Advisor is to proactively manage a caseload of fast track EL/PL cases from inception to conclusion, and ensure cases reach settlement within designated targets. As a EL/PL legal advisor within the team you will be responsible for your own designated caseload.Responsibilities:

  • Ability to proactively manage a caseload of up to 220 EL/PL claims.
  • Proactively engaging with clients to obtain thorough instructions and manage expectations.
  • Assess quantum and liability to include reviewing medical records and reports, researching relevant case law, drafting schedules of special damages, reviewing disclosure documents.
  • Adhering to Union reporting requirements and SLAs.
  • Compliance with Lexcel and SRA standards and regulations.
  • Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Timely and accurate data input and use of case management system to ensure appropriate capture of management information and reporting.

  • Ability to assess and review medical reports of various disciplines.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet monthly financial targets and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to accurately record data and information.
  • Competent working with a case management system.
