West Midlands – £70,000 Role – Legal Counsel
Background – Commercial Contracts
Salary – up to £70K
Location – West Midlands
Working Pattern – Hybrid (3 Days in the office)
Hours – Full Time Permanent over 5 daysAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3+ PQE Qualified Solicitor with a Commercial law background to join a UK based IT business. A background in IT/Telecoms would be advantageous but not essential.Candidate profile –
- Offer pragmatic and commercial legal advice to the growing UK business.
- Strong background in commercial contract drafting of all sizes. Negotiate where required with external clients and suppliers.
- The candidate must be confident to work independently and although guidance can be given a level of confidence is required.
- Provide support to senior stakeholders across the Group, ensuring decision making is made in a commercial fashion and legal advice is followed through.
- Support other team members where required with any ‘ad hoc’ legal assignments.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ PQE in Commercial Law,
- In-House experience although advantageous is not required,
- IT/Telecoms and SaaS experience would be desirable but not essential,
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy is essential,
- Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment,
- Work as part of a UK wide legal team in various locations.
