Are you willing to consolidate your career in Legal area and to make a difference in a global vital business?Become part of our team and help build an organization that is working on the latest trends in Agri and Food Solutions – you probably have heard about our local brands of oil, Kırlangıç, Madra and Salat?We are growing and looking for a passionate, bold, and driven Legal Counsel.Read the vacancy below and learn more about it!What you will be doing as an Legal Counsel:The core purpose of this role is to support all company functions and general counsel on day-to-day operations of the legal department, following the legal procedures of the company, consulting on the legal and compliance matters in a way that related risks are prevented effectively in terms of commercial transactions as well as total business management.This will be done through the following actions:

• Collaborate and coordinate all legal matters with the external lawyers, law firms and consultants.
• Representing the company before the courts and public entities and institutions.
• Update legal knowledge of the company employees.
• Following up all lawsuits and execution proceedings.
• Following up company corporate secretary matters ( general assembly procedures. resolutions of board of directors) and other corporate matters of the company.
• Provide legal assistance to all departments of the company through providing legal reports/opinions, drafting and reviewing the agreements, protocols, undertakings in order to minimize the legal risk.
• Provide day-to-day necessary legal support to all company departments to ensure legal compliance.
• Initiate necessary legal proceedings to protect the rights of the company.
• Involve in the process of getting mortgages and other collaterals from the third parties.
• Report on situations which may legally affect the Company’s operations.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems within the organization.
• Prepare and communicate reports on the legal issues to headquarter in Geneva and work closely with them when required.
• Collaborate with and provide legal support to the Associate General Counsel of the company.

What do we expect from our future colleague?

• Minimum 7 years experience preferably in Commercial law, Corporate Law, Contracts Law, Intellectual Property Law, Data Privacy Laws and Labour Law
• University degree from a reputable university in Law
• Admitted to a Bar Association in Republic of Turkey,detail oriented, strong time management, coordination and planning skills and excellent level of communication
• Quickly adapt to the fast-paced working environment
• Strong MS Office knowledge
• Working experience in both local and multinational transactions
• Deadline driven, both process and result oriented
• Advanced written & spoken English
