Our client is seeking a pragmatic and dynamic team player to join their M&A legal team, and take part in high-value international M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, and financial projects alongside internal business units and external advisors like investment banks and law firms.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

• Handle international M&A transactions (e.g., acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, divestitures) from initial structuring to closing.
• Handle due diligence processes, regulatory filings, and governance documentation related to high-stakes transactions.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams on capital markets, treasury-related matters, and projects like debt issuance, dividend distribution, and intra-group loan arrangements.
• Provide actionable legal advice to top management and brief the Executive Committee members on major legal matters.
• Select and manage relationships with external legal counsel, ensuring efficient and cost-effective legal support.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve legal and compliance risks inherent in M&A deals.

Your Profile:The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master of Laws degree, with excellent academic performance.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional law within corporate M&A teams at top-tier law firms or equivalent in-house counsel roles. Capital markets expertise is a plus.
• Exceptional transactional skills.
• Strong legal analytical abilities and a knack for translating technical legal concepts into clear, business-oriented advice.
• A team player collaborative spirit paired with the capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of projects.
• Full professional proficiency in English and a willingness to engage in occasional international travel.
