Write the next chapter of your ABB story.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for running projects or programs in the Group Function Legal & Integrity at global level. Supporting the Legal and integrity function through the Center of Expertise Legal Operations and finance team in strategic thinking, leadership, innovation, optimization and simplification of processes and the tools that support them. Preferred location is Zurich. We can only accept applications with a valid work permit for Switzerland. Responsibilities include • Engaging with stakeholders to optimize and simplify, function regulations, tools and processes using Lean 6 Sigma and the latest technology in Legal & Integrity. • Using the concept of quality to drive the effective use of resources, minimization of waste, and exceptional results to improve the Legal & Integrity function and its services. Participate in designing and planning future processes and systems. • Out of the strategic agenda create a project portfolio and determine which projects will be run based on urgency and importance with solid project charters. • All project and the resulting changes to the process and systems of ABB should follow the principle of our ABB Way operating model and adhere to ABBs core values and code of conduct. • Autonomously run Legal projects with stakeholders, the Information System (IS) organization and 3rd party suppliers to the required result. • Set up a project plan, the RFP process, the reporting requirements for the stakeholders, the project team and deliver the project including change management, training, communication and lessons learned process at the end of the project. • Reporting the status of projects to the Head of Legal operations and the senior leadership teamQualifications for the role
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology or similar.
- Advanced project management knowledge with 12+ years of experience and significant involvement in large corporate transformation projects
- Good understanding of project tools, including Project Management tools, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, Process mapping tools, Document management systems etc.
- Good understanding of technology and affiliation with Legal Tech is an advantage
- Experience in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures, training material and other required documentation
- Previous experience in running process improvement projects and or IT Projects end to end is a must
- Ideally project management certification like PMI, PMP, Agile
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt or Black Belt certified are a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, understanding consequences in a systemic manner
- Finely tuned communication skills: proven ability to present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders.
- Full professional proficiency in English, spoken and written.
