DisciplineService DeliveryBusiness EnvironmentLockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems UK (RMS UKIS) is the prime contractor and system integrator for a number of programmes; they also provide through life sustainment support for these programmes. The Logistics Information Support Solutions (LISS) team provides support to these programmes through ensuring that the logistic information applications and products used to support the programmes provide the most proficient and cost-effective capabilities.About the RoleThe Logistics IT Systems Analyst will become an integral part of the Information Systems and Innovation (ISI) Team. This team is presently broadening the logistic IT toolsets utilised across numerous Lockheed Martin UK programs. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will involve delivering these novel tools to the business and assuming a leading role in all facets of a successful implementation.The primary workplace for this role will be in Havant, with increased opportunities for remote work as time progresses. Initially, it would be beneficial to work regularly in the office to become familiar with the role, with the option to transition to more remote work over time.Key responsibilities encompass, yet are not limited to, the following: * Technical Liaison: The candidate will interface with the LM US-based team to obtain the necessary applications and all its requirements for successful UK installation.

  • Training: They will undergo comprehensive training on the application to ensure proficient use.
  • Customer Interaction: The individual will engage with both US and UK customers to validate requirements.
  • Documentation: They will develop user guides and training materials.
  • Training Delivery: The candidate will conduct both in-person and remote training sessions for customers.
  • Support: Post-implementation, they will provide ongoing support for each live application.

As the primary point of contact for each application installation, the candidate will be expected to work independently, demonstrating autonomy in their tasks.Involvement in the following areas will include:

  • Experience in clarifying and exploring toolsets functions and features.
  • Execute test plans, scenarios and identify defects to software team.
  • Experience in functional testing / user interface review / performance testing.
  • Provide hands-on training sessions to familiarise users with new software’s features and functionalities.
  • Create relevant documentation (user manuals, guides and FAQs).
  • Experience in creating training plans and deliver training to all levels of personnel.
  • Deliver on or offsite training for all ISI deployed business applications.
  • Design and set up the necessary data elements within the ISI IT toolsets to allow smaller programmes to utilise the systems efficiently and more cost effectively.
  • Act as business representative for changes to services, ensuring alignment with business needs in conjunction with corporate policies.
  • Operational support and input to the LMUK ISI IT toolsets to ensure that they are meeting the business needs of internal/external customers and adhere to corporate policies.
  • Work closely with internal/external customer sites to ensure that their business needs are being met by the systems provided by the LMUK ISI team.
  • Report issues/concerns requiring escalation directly to the ISI team lead.
