Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + 10% BonusPod Talent is excited to be partnering with a leading FMCG business to recruit a Logistics Manager.   • Manage 3PL Relationships – Lead relationships with 3PL partners, overseeing transportation and export logistics to ensure smooth operations across the UK and EU, and support successful market expansion.
  • Streamline Logistics Operations – Work closely with production, planning, and customer supply teams to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries and maintain inventory balance while improving service levels.
  • Drive Sustainability Initiatives – Implement environmentally friendly logistics solutions to reduce carbon emissions and minimise waste.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Maintain full compliance with transportation, import/export regulations, and sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Control Costs and Improve Efficiency – Develop and manage budgets effectively, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising performance, and working closely with supply and finance teams.
  • Leverage Data for Strategic Decisions – Use performance data to monitor and enhance operations, tracking key KPIs to drive continuous improvement and better decision-making.

Key Experience Requirements for the position of Logistics Manager:

  • 5+ years of logistics experience within consumer goods across the UK & EU.
  • Strong understanding of market drivers and cost mitigation strategies within 3PL.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the export process and procedures.
  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder management with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
  • Experience in project and cost reporting within the supply chain across UK and EU markets.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with proficiency in Excel and other data tools.
