We are looking for people to join us on the journey of handing cricket over to future generations as the most inclusive and diverse sport in the world.The PositionWe are looking for casual logistics team members to play a vital role in our matchday operations. Your top priority will be organisation and cleanliness of our matchday uniform and assets. Good inventory management and the ability to work efficiently in a team are essential for success in this position.You will need to be available for pre and post-event day set up, being on hand on event day to help sort any issues with equipment or stock. You will be trained in all areas by our logistics supervisor/manager. Working in a vibrant & fun-loving team, learning skills and gaining in confidence in a logistical role which can be transitioned into many different areas of work.RequirementsWhat you’ll do
- Ensuring staff uniform are meeting the company’s high standards.
- Looking after the staff feeding area, making sure it is kept clean and as a presence for issues that may occur, keeping in contact with the staffing/operations team if need be.
- Collecting and distributing radio’s, earpieces any other equipment that is essential to the Stewards/SIA/Supervisor/Manager roles.
- Taking care for laundry duties, liaising with the company and organising pickup/drop-off dates/timings.
- Traffic management (A training session will be provided).
The PersonThe successful candidate will have the following experience / skills / qualities:
- Candidates must be aged 18 or over.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Physically fit and mobile.
- Enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team and follow instruction.
- Reliable and self- motivated.
- Strong time keeping skills.
- Professional with high standards and integrity.
