Logistics Manager Position/ Turun Muuttoryhmä Oy

We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to lead and develop our logistics services, working within a forward-thinking, environmental, and circular economy-focused company. Key Responsibilities:
Operations Planning & Team Leadership: Oversee logistics operations to ensure team goals are achieved.
Network Management: Develop and manage relationships within our partner network.
Team Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for logistics planning and travel organization.
Resource Management: Ensure adequate resources and expertise are available, both internally and externally.
Service Development: Launch and expand property-specific collection services tailored for corporate clients.
Financial Planning: Monitor and plan operational costs, focusing on economic efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Implement ongoing development initiatives for logistics processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage actively with internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure operational guidelines are followed and report directly to management.
Requirements:
Education: Relevant qualifications in logistics, civil engineering, or transport.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in diverse logistics roles, with strong IT skills for managing transport contracts and operational planning.
Specialized Skills: Expertise in logistics planning with a focus on safety, risk management, and economic efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional transport qualification to facilitate managing the group’s traffic license.
Working language requirement: English
