If so, you’ll be interested in this opportunity!About the roleAs a Mainframe application Database Administrator, you will be part of the Database Solutions expert group at the Mainframe & IBMi tribe, providing the required database support for the application teams around the bank. In your role, you will:Drive the incoming request from the application teams. Work with data modelling (physical and logical models) and maintain database models. Design, develop and manage databases in a mainframe environment. Provide design suggestions, perform SQL reviews and performance tuning checks. Do index reviews and suggestions. Proactive identification of CPU consuming SQLs. Implementation of the Db objects in Test and Production.To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• Previous experience working as a Mainframe application Database administrator for DB2, if you also know DL/1 that is meriting.

• Familiarity with Mainframe environment.

• Experience of COBOL development.

• Great knowledge on Db2 for z/OS.

• Experience of working with SQL.

• Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership.

• Great communication skills and fluency in English.
