Human by nature.As a Maintenance Manager (m/w/d), you will directly report to our Site E&M Manager and you will join our Engineering & Maintenance Division in Vernier.You will be in charge of plan and manage the inspection and maintenance (including sustain and improve) of facilities, related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, and production machinery to ensure that the site runs operations without undesired changes and at capacity level. In this role you are the important partner of a production manager and are accountable for the Service level agreement achievement.In this exciting role you will :
- Strategy design and execution
- Balance the capacity and competences of the group team with the requirements of the production needs
- Define the engineering and maintenance annual targets within the group in partnership with the production manager and leads and monitors their achievements through the Service level agreement
- Function management
- Lead a team of specialists and planning supervisors working on different assignments within engineering and maintenance field
- Deliver the best engineering and maintenance service within the group in close partnership with the production manager through maintenance planning and cluster engineering projects
- Apply preventive maintenance plans and maintenance support to improve availability of plant equipment and prevent business disruption
- Define budgets based on maintenance requirements i.e. resources, materials, duration,…
- Conduct audits/inspections to ensure compliance of installations, equipment and users with EHS and QM policies
- Identify, recommend and deploy improvements whether to correct non-compliant situations or increase productivity
- Manage spare parts inventory to increase stock and dispose of obsolete materials
- Ensure closed communication between group team members and production team, for gatekeeping, performance monitoring, transparent decision process and planning efficiency
- Maintain compliance of all assets with applicable legal or company standards, and harmonization of standards within the E&M departmen
- Support the local Operations business plan and strategy execution production capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, spare parts inventory,…
- Provide input to the other E&M group managers and to the site E&M manager related to global or regional Capex projects to anticipate impact on local activities and resources
- Work with E&M CoE functions to ensure analysis and implementation of global strategies, plans or best practices.
- People management
- Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes for the related group E&M team and validate related results
- Work with local Operations and regional/global E&M management teams and HR Business Partner in developing a local talent pipeline for the function
- Guide the development and promotion of talents within and outside the function
- Evaluate external resource’s needs and manage external resources.

- University degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification
- Overall work experience of 10 years in manufacturing or plant operations, either in the function of engineering or maintenance
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience. Experience of management of manager appreciated
- Knowledge of French and English languages
- Proficiency in asset maintenance and engineering for building, process installation and utilities, from design stage to hand-over
- Knowledge in process/chemical assets
- Confirmed expertise of partner management and communication
- Knowledge of project management
- Knowledge of TPM, Indicators, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools
- Knowledge of process mapping and design
- Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines
- Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP)
- Take responsibility and don’t accept the status quo
- Customer-focused with a sense of production urgency
- Manage complexity
- Challenge with a continuous improvement behavior, following the site’s CI culture
- Cultivate innovation and standardize: systematically seek solutions that can be duplicated in other situations.
