We enjoy working closely with customers to co-develop bespoke products, in our well-equipped Customer Innovation Center.About the roleAAK are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Supervisor to support the current management team and ensure that work supervision, planning and control of people and tasks are in place to provide a responsive service to internal customers of the operational team whilst ensuring compliance to QHSE.Responsibilities· Ensuring a safe place of work through the application of safety policy and procedures and working within the site quality standards.· Effectively managing and developing a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high performance; including, training, competence, control over maintenance, overtime costs and call out rota.· Daily management of CMMS.· Maintain appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or completed work· Work closely with the Maintenance Scheduler to review the actual labour expended versus estimated labour and material used for completed jobs.· Weekly tracking of work completion through CMMS and management of KPI structure for the department.· Drive to zero breakdowns through supporting the asset management and maintenance strategy programme. Supporting development of preventative maintenance procedures and autonomous Maintenance for the site· Responsive maintenance service through effective planning, including driving the daily/weekly maintenance meetings· Identifying small projects for team of reports· Involvement in the management of the Maintenance budget and capital investment through maintenance improvements.· The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to demonstrate compliance to the detailed workflow management business process (see below).The workflow management business process consists of the following criteria:

About you· Ability to drive best practice from all members of the teams.· Knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes· Ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facilities and infrastructure.· Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques with the ability to anticipate, recognise and resolve technical (mechanical, electrical, systems or operational) problems in a manufacturing environment.· Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches to asset management· Ability to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement philosophy integrating with existing production and management processes.· Excellent administrative, mathematical and organisational abilities.· Ability to work cross functionally in a constructive and collaborative manner· Proactive with a detailed and progressive approach to work.· Understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques e.g. 6S, RCA and problem solving.In return AAK offer:· 10% non-contribution pension.· Bonus scheme.· UK Healthcare scheme.· 25 days holidays plus bank holidays.· Group life cover.· Group income protection scheme.· Ride2Work scheme.About AAKEverything AAK does is about Making Better Happen™.
