We are looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented employee to join our maintenance team, which is responsible for the maintenance of machinery and equipment at our site in Frederikshavn. Modern American Recycling Service Europe specializes in the safe and environmentally responsible dismantling, recycling, and reuse of large offshore structures.What will your responsibilities be?
As a member of our team, you will be assigned a diverse set of responsibilities. These will include – but are not limited to – the following tasks:

• Repair and maintenance of machines and equipment: From site vehicles and telehandlers to cranes and other heavy machinery. It is our primary task to keep our machinery running, therefore ad hoc tasks must be expected.
• Servicing and updating checklists: You’ll be part of a team that follows a fixed service program for all vehicles and machinery. You’ll help keep checklists up to date and organized.
• Assisting with structural relocation: When our structures need to be moved, you’ll assist with starting main and auxiliary engines and ensure the move proceeds smoothly.

Who are you?
You are a hands-on, practical person with a problem-solving mindset who thrives in a changing and sometimes fast-paced work environment. You take responsibility for your tasks and aren’t afraid to show initiative. You work well with your colleagues and are happy to lend a hand when needed.Your educational or professional background could include:

• Training as a construction machinery mechanic, marine mechanic, or a similar technical background.
• Experience with maintenance of large machinery, preferably mobile and crawler cranes.
• Technical aptitude and an interest in working hands-on with machines and equipment.
• Good communication skills – English proficiency is an advantage.
• A flexible and positive attitude that enables you to adapt to new challenges and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
