We call it chemistry with a purpose, better every day.We are looking for innovative and customer oriented Manager to Equipment Solutions team. Equipment Solutions team develop, design, install and commission Kemira equipment for Pulp & Paper customers. Equipment includes make down units & dosing pump skids for different chemistries (polymer, sizing, biocide, strength etc.) and KemConnect Control & Monitoring equipment.This position will report to Sr Manager Application Excellence, Packaging & Hygiene Solutions EMEA. The location for the position will be in one of the Kemira offices in EMEA.Main accountabilities for the role are:

  • To lead the Equipment Solutions application team in EMEA
  • Securing that Safety is a priority in Equipment Solutions team operations
  • Continuously develop the team to match the changing customer requirements
  • To work closely with the sales teams to ensure proper resourcing for key projects
  • To manage customer equipment EMEA projects
  • To coordinate customer equipment development in EMEA
  • To manage customer equipment budget in EMEA
  • Openness towards new things and positive approach towards your customers and colleagues are essential

What you need:

  • Multifunctional competencies related to

o Process automation and instrumentation
o Data communication systems (PLC, different fieldbus protocols)
o Mechanical installations
o Knowledge of pulp & paper processes and/ or water industries are seen as advantage

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science, Engineering or another relevant field
  • You should have good managerial skills and ability to motivate people.
  • You are highly motivated on looking for new solutions, developing existing systems and way of working
  • You are strong and structured team player with high level of self-motivation.
  • You are fluent English both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel for market support related activities is required.
