Exciting opportunity to join the growing, dynamic global Due Diligence team in Carne Group – the premier provider of Fund-Management solutions to asset managers across the world.What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

• 4-5 years’ experience in Investment Management / operational due diligence
• Experience in attending / leading meetings with Clients
• An understanding of the regulatory environment impacting investment funds and Management Companies/AIFMs
• Experience in writing concise and clear due diligence or similar type reports for presentation to senior management.
• Experience in verbally communicating analysis on investment managers including escalation of issues to senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• University degree (or equivalent qualification)

Who are we looking for?We are looking for a funds professional who is eager to grow and develop within the asset management industry to join our Due Diligence team.What is your role and your responsibilities?

• Lead operational due diligence reviews covering a variety of fund types and asset classes including long only, hedge funds, and private markets.
• Identifying risks associated with the appointment of the Investment Manager proposing mitigating actions.
• Produce and present clear, concise due diligence reports in line with market standards and regulatory requirements for review by senior management on the team and approval by the relevant Conducting Officers / Designated Persons / Authorised Corporate Directors.
• Build rapport with Investment Managers to identify potential commercial opportunities and development points.
• Contribute to the overall development of the investment manager due diligence through championing effective work processes and collaborating on commercial opportunities.
• Provide training and support to junior members of the team
• Attend various internal meetings to provide updates on the due diligence program status
• Any other ad hoc tasks / projects which may be assigned
