As a team, we are working on supplying Automation Engineering Services within Pharmaceutical API production. From conceptual design through all engineering phases, we support our customers in Life Cycle Management of their automation systems, ensuring up-to-date evaluation and application of new technologies.Why do we need you? Your role will be key in leading a team of automation engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success, competence development, and strategic alignment. You will have the responsibility for coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to achieve ambitious goals while embracing an agile approach.As a Manager in Process Automation, you will also identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions across our diverse project portfolio within the pharma industry. Our projects range widely from feasibility studies and concept designs to handover of fully operational pharmaceutical facilities. The projects span from very large greenfield projects to medium-sized revamp and digitalization projects. You will furthermore be responsible for harmonizing local processes in alignment with global standards, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective collaboration with our costumer and taking initiative to define other close stakeholders.Location Kalundborg Department Process Automation

As Manager in Process Automation, you’ll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you’ll be:

• Responsible for managing 15-25 employees in direct reference, specialized within implementation of Process Control Systems (800xA, SattLine and DeltaV)

• Joining a team of 200+ employees across Denmark (Kalundborg/Virum) and India, referring to the director of Process Automation in Denmark as part of the management team

• Leading and driving competence development within Process Automation together with the management team across Denmark and India

• Handling stakeholder communication and collaboration, serving our customer representatives

• Providing visionary leadership to the automation department, including hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of automation engineers.

• Allocating resources effectively to support automation projects and initiatives in coordination with other departments

• In addition to your management responsibilities, active participation in projects is essential. This involvement keeps you connected with technical advancements within the discipline and ensures alignment with the NNE way of working

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• You have a degree in engineering within Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical production or equivalent

• You have minimum 7 years of experience within pharma/biotech or life science industry

• You have experience in people management and/or team management

• You have experience with engineering projects in the industrial and or life-science sectors, experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry is an advantage

• You speak and write Danish and English
