Manager for Sow Herd near HjørringAre you ready for new challenges as a manager?Jonas Ellitsgaard Jensen is looking for a dedicated and experienced employee to take charge of the sow herd, as one of the current employees is retiring after many years of loyal service.About the PositionAs a department manager, you will have the main responsibility for the mating and gestation unit while coordinating work across the other sections. You will be an important part of a team where we collaborate and support each other across tasks and departments.Our farm is located near Hjørring. We have 650 sows and sell piglets at weaning. Our facilities are well-maintained, with continuous renovations. You will be part of a team consisting of two other Danish-speaking employees plus the owner, where we emphasize good cooperation and shared responsibility for the tasks.Daily Tasks

• Heat detection and insemination
• Taking care of pregnant sows
• Group management
• Pregnancy scanning
• Vaccination of sows
• Record-keeping and E-control in Agrovision

We Are Looking for Someone Who

• Has experience in managing a mating unit
• Can take responsibility and contribute to maintaining high efficiency
• Is open to new initiatives and improvements
• Speaks Danish
• Is reliable and has a positive attitude
• Preferably has practical skills for maintenance tasks (not a requirement)
