Short DescriptionSAS Supply Chain in Copenhagen is a part of our overall Maintenance Production and is divided into two areas: Hangar Service Center and Workshops.The main purpose of the Hangar Service Center is to support Maintenance Production in material, tool and logistic handling, including storekeeping and transport, while Workshops ensure components maintenance aligns with the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE).We are now looking for a new Logistic & Workshop Manager to lead and support our daily operations in Copenhagen.PurposeAs Logistic & Workshop Manager you will ensure that the day-to-day operations of the department comply with the Working Environment Act, the Accounting Act, and the Customs and Export Control Law.You will be responsible for securing that all tasks and required skills are in line with MOE and ensuring that SAS’s and the Supply Chain obligations are followed in according to contracts, including delegated tasks from SAS CAMO, are met.Additionally, the role involves securing a 24/7 Logistic support function (Hangar Service Center) for SAS P-145 Maintenance Production, as well as overseeing that component maintenance is performed in accordance with MOE’s capability and processes, and that all local tools and hangar equipment comply with the MOE’s regulations and standards.This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain Management and oversees approx. 40 colleagues.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with transport, customs, and VAT processes, including the import and export of aircraft registered in Denmark, work performed at external MRO, export of modifications sone in Denmark for SE, NO and EI registered aircrafts.
  • Support maintenance production with material, tool, and logistic handling.
  • Manage storekeeping, inventory, and optimization.
  • Implement and update Lean activities.
  • Handle local transport/shipping, and customs tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with ADR and DGR regulations.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs to minimize AOG and maintenance costs.
  • Assess and ensure the competence of applicable staff.
  • Maintain and update workshop capabilities according to MOE.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings with CAMO.
  • Ensure tools are calibrated and hangar equipment is serviced according to MOE.
  • Collect and systematize aircraft documentation in Copenhagen and ensure monthly shipment to central archives.

To be successful, we believe you should have

  • Technical or logistic education
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workshop or aircraft maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistic handling and coordination.
  • Experience in a maintenance production environment and knowledge of P-145 regulations.
  • Experience with economy/budget management and Lean tools.
