If so, keep on reading.We continue to expand our footprint in the Finnish and Nordic M&A market, which is why we are now looking for finance and M&A professionals to join our M&A Transaction Services team as a Manager.The RoleOur M&A Transaction Services team provides comprehensive buy and sell-side advisory services, focusing on financial aspects of acquisitions and divestitures. We support clients throughout the entire transaction process, with financial due diligence being our flagship service among other M&A offerings. Our professionals engage in a diverse range of M&A services, considering tax, legal, ICT, HR, and ESG factors.As a Manager in our Transaction Services team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead projects alongside the responsible Partner, acting as the primary client contact.
  • Manage client interfaces and develop strong market relationships.
  • Guide and support team members, including coaching younger professionals.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and the offering, as well as proposing new projects.

In our projects, we frequently collaborate with colleagues from other Nordic and European countries, providing good networking opportunities within Deloitte. While your primary work location will be in the Helsinki area, travel within the Nordics and Europe may be required.QualificationsWe envision that you have a keen interest and experience in Mergers & Acquisitions. Understanding operative processes and their financial implications is central to your expertise.Additionally, to succeed in this role you:

  • have about 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally, in the field of M&A and Financial Due Diligence. You might also have a background in finance function and accounting, or in audit.
  • hold a master’s degree in a relevant field e.g., business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • communicate fluently in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage.
  • possess strong business acumen and great interaction skills.
  • have good problem solving and analytical skills combined with attention to detail.

Further, experience from and interest towards building sector expertise in technology, private equity, financial services, or energy, resources & industrials industries is seen as an advantage.You will thrive in our team if you enjoy a dynamic environment and prioritise exceeding client expectations. You should be adept at analysing data and utilising technology (e.g., Tableau or other data visualisation tools).
