The Manager of Sample Control will oversee 7 associates and 5 student assistants responsible for sample pickup in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with GMP standards. As part of the QC Support leadership team, you will enhance workplace satisfaction and add organizational value.Responsibilities:

• Ensure all sample activities are aligned with strong GMP standards and protocols.
• Lead with emotional intelligence to foster a thriving and engaged team environment.
• Pioneer automation efforts in aliquoting within the lab.
• Drive process improvements and adopt LEAN methodologies.
• Utilize Quality Systems knowledge for coaching and cross-functional improvements.
• Provide technical support during audits and inspections.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory licenses and act as a subject matter expert across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate investigations impacting Quality areas.
• Assist in interviewing, training, and developing team members, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Implement effective decision-making and corrective actions on the floor.

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Expertise in GMP standards and sample control processes.
• Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
• Experience in automation within lab environments preferred.
• Proficiency in Quality Systems with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work strategically at tactical and operational levels.
