Learn more about Kemira at .We are now looking for a Manager, Public Affairs EMEA and Finland for our Global Public Affairs Team.Global Public Affairs actively contributes to Kemira’s purpose by supporting policy developments that help improve the quality of water resources, protect the environment and enable our customers’ sustainable business. We aim for a constructive, impactful and transparent dialogue with regulatory and societal stakeholders.This position is based at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing business-critical public policy developments in the EMEA region and mitigating associated opportunities and risks, in close collaboration with relevant business units and functions.
• Managing Kemira’s public affairs/advocacy strategy and roadmap for the EMEA region, with a particular focus on Finland.
• Engaging with government officials, regulatory bodies, trade associations and other industry stakeholders to represent Kemira, serving as a primary point of contact for public affairs in Finland.
• Collaborating with Kemira’s Group Communications team to ensure alignment in messaging.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Master’s degree in international relations, political sciences, communications or similar.
• Proven experience of managing public affairs in the EU and Finland with an excellent understanding of the political landscape and established networks in Finland and EU.
• Curiosity in Kemira’s portfolio, customer markets and the chemicals industry.
• Excellent influencing, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Finnish, additional languages are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations or a related field with a focus on Finland and Europe.
