Managing Director – Real Estate Investment Firm, No TurnoverWe currently have the pleasure of assisting a human-sized Real Estate investment company in its search for a Managing Director.With a multicultural team composed of less than 10 people in Luxembourg, but part of an international group offering stability and with several offices, you are sure to thrive in an environment where you can develop strong connections with your team. As proof, it is important to note that the turn-over is particularly low as there have not even been a handful of resignations in the past decade.We had the pleasure of meeting the current managing director with whom you will work closely, who seems very easy-going and funny, and who explained that they are looking for someone easy to get along with an who wishes to invest themselves long-term in a future company.For confidentiality reasons, certain details have been omitted but we would be happy to discuss these further with you during a phone call should your profile be a good fit.Your Responsibilities | Investment Firm – Real Estate – Accounting – Managing Director

• You work closely with another Managing Director to make sure that the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly.
• A 360° versatility is key for this role, as you will be exposed to team management, administration, accounting, punctual projects and so on. For this reason, we are looking for a candidate who wishes to take on a wide variety of responsibilities.
• You will be part of the Board and will also report to the group on the operations in Luxembourg. Biweekly meetings are scheduled, so good communication is key amongst the Board.
• You will also take on a few directorship mandates.
• Although the members of the team are all already quite autonomous, you will be in charge for dividing the workload and answering any questions your colleagues may have.
• You ensure the contact with investors when this is needed.

Profile and Career Path | Investment Firm – Real Estate – Accounting – Managing Director

• You have at least 15 years of experience in the financial industry in Luxembourg, either in a service provider, Family Office and/or investment company. You have at least achieved a position of Senior Manager or Director. If you have 20 or 30 years of experience for example, this would of course also be ideal.
• Fluency in English is mandatory whereas any other language (especially French or German) would be considered as an additional asset.
• You are an expert in the accounting for Holdings and PropCos, allowing you to share your skills with the team when necessary.
• Your easy-going personality yet good eye for detail allows you to get along with everyone, while also making sure that the daily operations of the office run smoothly and the deadlines are respected.
• Although you are specialized in Finance, you still have a good understanding of legal principles (e.g. in case of contract signatures). Of course, we are not seeking a candidate who is specialized in the legal field.
