Then we have an exciting opportunity for you.Electronics Manufacturing (EMF) in Lystrup produces solutions for mission-critical applications. Terma has extensive expertise in manufacturing advanced electronic and harness for several types of aircrafts.We are looking for another Manufacturing Engineer to join a department of 17 colleagues, where there is plenty of room for sparring and knowledge-sharing. Our production is characterized by complex products in low volumes and high quality. Our customers have high demands on quality, precision, and thorough documentation, so we are looking for a colleague who strives for “Best in Class.”Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our cable harness assembly department. This dynamic environment includes also minor mechanical assemblies, offering a variety of challenges and opportunities to excel.We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives on supporting processes and ensuring seamless operations.Your key responsibility will include:

• Supporting Operators with technical guidance
• Maintaining and optimizing process equipment
• Creating time estimates and production routings
• Preparing clear work instructions
• Managing deviations and verifying processes
• Troubleshooting and solving production-related challenges with a proactive mindset.
• Collaborating with developers and reviewing documentation
• Creating and updating process instructions

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical foundation and a passion for supporting production processes. Ideally, you have completed training as an Electronics Mechanic, Technician, or similar, preferably with a focus on production. Experience in a similar role within a production company and expertise in manufacturing engineering is an advantage.The main qualifications are listed below:

• You excel at multitasking, are persistent, and always strive to deliver high-quality results

• You maintain high standards for quality and compliance, even under pressure
• Certification or knowledge of IPC 620 standards is highly desirable

Additional skills that would be beneficial:

• Ability to train and mentor Operators, ensuring consistent skill development across the team
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and preventive action planning (e.g., FMEA)
• Experience with process optimization using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our cable assembly department.
