They have an established Capital Projects Management team in place and are looking to expand that team in the Marine Civil Engineering space.Location: Cork City (Hybrid)Company: One of Ireland’s leading financial companiesPosition Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary & Package: €80-90k, pension, health insurance and other bennefitsThe Role

  • Working directly with the organisation’s infrastructure clients (across our focus sectors; energy, water, transport, gas, telecoms, housing, and healthcare) to help create innovative insights and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Advising clients on the challenges relating to the delivery of capital projects and programmes
  • Project set-up and mobilisation, defining the operating model and delivery strategy.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure that all project deliverables are managed to time, cost and quality.
  • Ensuring that project plans, project logs (E.g., Risks, assumptions issues, dependencies logs) and project budgets are managed effectively.
  • Delivery of major project/programme activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Integrating data to inform insights by sharing technical, sector and market knowledge in their area of expertise.
  • High quality business writing and ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, (including senior management team), via meetings, presentations and reports.

About YouWe’re seeking a Project Manager with:

  • 3rd level educational qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Project Manager – Approx. 3-6 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer delivering engineering capital projects.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex programmes.
  • Good understanding of project governance and change management principles
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and practices relevant to infrastructure projects.

Expected salary

€80000 – 90000 per year
