Market Developer – Chemical Technical Sales (EMEA)Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Sales Manager (EMEA) Travel Requirement: 10–20%About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and technically-minded Market Developer to drive new business growth across diverse industry sectors. This role focuses on delivering product insights, application support, and targeted outreach to identify and grow market opportunities. Youu0027ll be a key player in technical sales, campaign execution, and customer engagement for specialized product lines.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted technical sales calls and collaborate with R&D teams and end-users to explore and validate product applications.
  • Support ongoing sales opportunities through technical expertise after account transition to sales representatives.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of product lines via collaboration with internal product teams, supplier contacts, and customer interactions.
  • Deliver technical training and product education to both internal sales teams and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape campaign strategies and create technical marketing content.
  • Participate in industry events and supplier meetings to stay ahead of market trends and gather actionable insights.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are addressed with tailored, technically sound solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bacheloru0027s degree in a technical or scientific discipline (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, product management, or a technical role within a relevant industry.
  • Strong consultative selling and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities across multiple formats (written, verbal, visual).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills desirable.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a keen sense of market awareness.

Additional Information:

  • Role involves hybrid work with travel (10–20%) for customer visits, supplier meetings, and trade shows.

Remuneration Details:

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Hybrid working 2/3 days in office
  • Citywest / Rathcoole location
  • €55,000-€80,000 depending on experience
  • 10% Bonus
  • Pension
  • Additional annual leave
  • Hybrid
