DescriptionPosition at GroupMMarketing & Communications ManagerWe’re seeking a proactive Marketing & Communications Manager for a permanent, full-time role (37.5h/week). Reporting to the Nordic Marketing & Communications Director (dotted line to the Nordic Head of Marketing), you’ll execute localized marketing and communication strategies for all GroupM entities, ensuring alignment with Nordic initiatives while enhancing brand visibility and driving growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLocal Market Strategy Execution:

• Implement and adapt Nordic marketing strategies to local needs for relevance and impact.
• Act as the main contact for all local marketing and communication activities.
• Provide market insights to inform Nordic-level planning.

Channel & Content Management:

• Oversee local digital channels, ensuring alignment with Nordic strategy and local dynamics.
• Execute the marketing content calendar and contribute to local campaigns.
• Utilize digital platforms to enhance engagement, brand visibility, and client acquisition.
• Maintain brand consistency across GroupM entities.

Client Engagement & Events:

• Work with the Nordic Head of Marketing to plan and execute local client events.
• Align local events with regional strategies for measurable outcomes.

Corporate Communications & PR:

• Develop PR initiatives to strengthen GroupM’s reputation locally.
• Build media and influencer relationships for consistent positive coverage.

Lead Generation & CRM:

• Support CRM and targeted campaigns with the Nordic Head of Marketing and New Business team.
• Manage local events and newsletters to optimize lead engagement.

Internal Communications & Employer Branding:

• Handle key internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters).
• Partner with People & Culture Lead to enhance employer branding.

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work with the Nordic marketing team to ensure alignment and best practice sharing.
• Track campaign performance and provide insights to Nordic leadership.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in marketing/communications (media or advertising industry preferred).
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Media.
• Strong skills in digital marketing, CRM, content strategy, and event planning.
• Excellent communication skills, and experience from PR & media relations.
• Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• Hands-on experience with tools like Canva for ad hoc content production.
